His targets/homage’s included "turban ladies" such as Norma Shearer, Maria Montez, Gloria Swanson, and Maria Ouspenskaya, with stopover zings at Mae West, Carol Channing, Bette Davis, and Barbara Stanwyck among others. This was a direct to VHS release, available for purchase at the theatre’s of his tour stops. (In 1990, after less than a year in retirement, Charles was called upon to tour again after the death of Bette Davis. He dusted off this act and retitled it “Charles Pierce, With Those Legendary Ladies Of The Silver Screen: All Talking, All Singing, All Dancing… All Dead!”) (Also included on the disc: Charles Pierce At The Ballroom, 1987). 1 hour.
